Dr. Dheeraj Garg completed his MBBS and MD in General Medicine at Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi, and his DM in Cardiology from PGIMER, Chandigarh. He was a gold medalist in MBBS and has since been recognised with a Distinguished Faculty Award.
He established Healthy Heart Cardiac Centre in 2011. Before that he served as Assistant Professor of Cardiology at GB Pant Hospital, and has held senior consultant positions at Metro Heart & Cancer Institute, Narinder Mohan Hospital & Heart Centre, and Pushpanjali Crosslay Hospital. He continues as Senior Consultant in Cardiology at Metro Heart & Cancer Institute, Preet Vihar.
His practice covers the full range of adult cardiac care — from routine consultation and diagnostics through to coronary angiography, angioplasty, peripheral and carotid intervention, and pacemaker implantation. Dr. Garg performs the echocardiography himself rather than delegating it to a technician. Findings are explained in plain language before any treatment is recommended.
